The most common reason to use an inspection camera with light is to see somewhere that is hard to access, like inside your computer or a car engine. Because of this, all of the endoscopes, borescopes and otoscopes that ScopeAround makes include LED ring lights to see in the dark. If you don’t need the light, or if it is too bright, you can use the controls to toggle the brightness down or turn the light off completely.
All of the mobile-device-compatible scope cameras that ScopeAround makes all include ring lights so yes scope cameras with lights are compatible with your mobile phone.
ScopeAround makes two types of scope cameras with light to work with your phones. The first type are USB scope cameras, which are compatible with Android devices or PC (Windows) and Mac (OSX) computers. The second type are WiFi scope cameras, which are compatible with iPhones (iOS) devices as well as other devices that can receive a WiFi signal, such as Android devices. ScopeAround also makes an otoscope that uses a Lightning cable adapter to connect via wire to iOS devices. All of the scope cameras that ScopeAround makes also include a light to see where the camera is pointed.
Many camera scopes with lights have a flexible neck to push or maneuver into hard to reach areas. Otoscope cameras that are designed to look in the ears, nose, and throat have a short neck that is not flexible however. If you want a flexible neck, be sure to shop for an endoscope type of scope camera, they are usually identifiable by their flexible scope with light and lens at the end.
ScopeAround makes the largest variety of scope cameras with light on the market including USB, WiFi, and stand-alone models of otoscopes and endoscopes. All of these scope cameras can save photos and video in HD resolution, or more, for later viewing and sharing with your health advisor.
